Girls day

Yesterday a few of us decided to go to the movies and have a lil girls day out. We planned on going to the cute new movie Letters to Juliet and had bought our tickets and everything till we got in the theater (which was a room of literally 20 seats) And the only seats left were of course the VERY front row! we were pretty bummed, so much that we even tried to watch the first preview to make it work... definitely didnt, Soo we decided to go see Killers. If you havent seen this movie go see it! its adorable. I have now seen it twice and its a fav. We had a great time, and laughed A LOT. I am havin a blast getting to know all the fun, sweet wives this year, love them!

Race day!

We did it!! Emily Julie and I decided to run the kansas city hospital hill run today. I ran the 5K and Em and Julie ran the 10K. It was SOO fun, we were havin a blast, it was a killer race on your legs though with lots and lots of hills but we made it to the finish line and Emily and I both met our goal time. Julie was awesome enough to be our lil picture taker and ended up kickin some butt in the race! it was pretty hilarious to see her cross the finish line with bags, cameras and all at good timing when she wasnt even planning on running it at all. love her. Im so glad emily talked me into runnin the race... way worth it. It was a beautiful cool morning so we decided to stick around and take some fun pics. New goal: run a 10K in the next month. I am lovin every bit of this this summer in kck!

Before the race... I got maybe four hours of sleep not sure why I
was so nervous.

Our summer home... Kansas City

We finally made it to Kansas!! It was a very long 18 hour trek but when we made it into Kansas City it was beautiful. It's suprisingly very green here and the weather is nice, usually in the upper seventy's and sunny. We live in a townhome in overland park and our neighborhood surrounds a mini lake with a half mile walking path... VERY relaxing! Cali of course loves it here becuase there are tons of geese to chase and dogs to play with around the lake. I started a goal to go walking every day three times a day for at least twenty minutes and im feeling great!! We live about twenty minutes from Independence Missouri so we decided to go do a church history tour which was awesome. I highly recommend doing that if your ever in the Midwest. We started off going to the visitors center to see the big church history tour, and took pictures on the temple lot and in front of the reorganized church's temple... really strange looking building, then we ventured off to the liberty jail and walked on the same floor where Joseph Smith had actually lived all winter long on. We are loving it here and enjoying this new neighborhood. Josh is working hard and has found a lot of success here, he has sold more here than he ever has in the first week, should be a good summer!

right outside our house we ran into this cute mother goose and her lil chickies! and this is the mini lake we live on.

Easter and Conference weekend.. with the Baron fam!!

This weekend has been a blast. My parents, little bro, and sister came up to visit! First I got to pamper my sister on wednesday at school and do her hair which was SO fun, I miss her so much already! Then we got to go snowboarding/ skiing on friday at sundance... sooo fun. I pampered my Mom and Dad at school with mani pedi's on saturday and showed them around my school for the first time. Josh took Colby Paintballing and they came home with huge welts all over... they loved it.. and then on Sunday we got the opportunity to go to Conference! I think that had to be the best session of conference ever, Elder Cook's talk was my favorite. My mom made her famous YUMMY conference casserole and we made a delicious Easter dinner and played games. We got like nooo sleep all weekend but it was SO fun!! This week I get to fly home to orange on Wednesday for my best friends wedding in the Newport beach temple and go to the beach on Saturday!!! life is gooood.

We made it to the top of Sundance
