Florida vaca

I went on a lil vaca with my best friends from hair school last week. We stayed at Ambers house in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. I had one of the best weeks of my life. It was like a vaca marathon full of just about everything fun you can possibly do in Florida. I missed my girls. Love you and miss you already!

we went tubing in the ocean, I was freeeeeaking out from all the dolphins that would come up to our boat!





We got to go to this swamp infested restaurant that was right over tons of gators and turtles.. sadly I didnt get a pic of the gators :(

had to try the gator tail.. it was realllly chewy and taste a lot like chicken.




I was obsessed with all the beautiful palm and willow trees






we had a flipping contest off the dock with the whole fam bam.

Gator Huntin'

We finally got to go on the famous swamp tour.. the one we have been talking about for months now even before we left for the summer, and let me tell you it was incredible! The gators came right up to the side of our boat, some of us even got to grab their tails and were literally inches away from their mouths. The boat glided over the water so fast I had tears coming out the side of my eyes. That had to have been one of the greatest experiences we have ever had being married, loved every minute of it and we are so glad we got to go with everyone!

Crawfish... Check!

Last minute saturday night we decided to venture down to NO to see bourbon street at night and try some crawfish. I have tried just about every fish you can think of from octopus to shark and I love them all but this was something I was a lil creeped out about... Crawfish. It's famous here in LA and most people are obsessed. I thought it was good but def not a fav of mine, mainly because the "head sucking" part (ew!).

Right when the waitor asked me to suck the inside of the head.. its written all over my face that this part was not cool with me. I kept thinking Its all part of the experience you gotta do it.


I was proud of our lil table not one person gave up the opportunity to try the craw.

Its fun having a best friend to play with every day, especially when its Jenny. My days here go by so fast I feel like because we are always doing something fun. Just to name a few...

we went to the Baton Rouge temple and did initiatory's.


had a "girls day out" at this super cute mall and drooled over all the anthro, J Crew, and urban outfitters clothing.


caught a bite to eat at what I would call our favorite restaurant ever, by the way the California Club is to die for. go try it. you will love it.


fell in love with the yummy La Cantina in Texas (miss it dearly!)


died luaghing trying on lipstick at Sephora


totally freaked out together when we found this one... one of our fav's.
