Grateful

I get to go riding about two to three times a week now with Marie and her horse and I thank my Heavenly Father every day for that opportunity. Horseback riding is therapy for me. Its relaxing, its challenging, its soothing, its exhilarating, and so much more. Through the cold 15 degree weather we ride through the morning haze and up into the beautiful mountains. I always had thought negatively of Utah growing up till I moved here. Especially now that I get to see the beauty all around me when we ride. To some it still may be a vast desert with no beauty, but to me I can see so much more. The peaceful feeling I get when we reach the top of the mountain and there's no one around us and nothing but a soothing breeze and an incredible view makes me realize how grateful I am for the things Heavenly Father gives us and blesses us with every day. I am so grateful for horses, for sunshine, for warm clothes, for nature, for this place I now call home, and for friends and family to share it with.

Jingle Bell Rock

The best song to blast while putting up Christmas decor = Jingle Bell Rock.

My poor neighbors are prob dying from all the loud Christmas music and random bursts of dancing/singing through the halls, But I am just LOVING decorating our house and having our first decorations being put up as a married couple. I know that sounds corny but it makes me so happy!!

Can you tell how obsessed I am with glitter right now??

I think our little abode is finally ready for the Christmas season! Even Cali has her first stocking. Bring on the Christmas festivities :)

Californian Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving in beautiful 80 degree weather was just what we needed this year. With snowy utah behind us we took off for our week long adventure in Sunny Socal with my family. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving at my Gma and Gpa Billings house in the mountains. I ate for four people... and I thoroughly enjoyed every second of it. We rode horses, played sand volleyball, shooting, rode the tractors, and enjoyed some family time. The Billings are seriously the best people. They are so sweet and absolutely hilarious! Playing games till midnight is a tradition when we get together so of course we played murder and wacky six for hours. SO fun!

Thanksgiving flew by from having so much fun and it was time to hit the beach! We went to the wedge and 58th in Newport. The weather couldnt have been more perfect. Finally got me some sun :)

I had a lovely reunion with my two best friends. Words cant even express how much I missed them! So excited for Court to have little peanut.

Colby my little bro got his Eagle a couple nights before we left. The court of honor was beautiful and so sweet to be a part of. I love you Colbs seriously so proud of you!!

I am so Thankful for such an awesome family that is always there for me and that made our Thanksgiving one to remember. I miss my nephews and niece more than anything right now!! So many wrestling matches, tickle fights and hugs. Seriously having nephew withdrawals. Cant wait to see them again. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
