Crafty Craft #2

I saw this adorable wreath on a friends blog last fall and knew I had to make it this year. It was so cheap and I cant stop staring at it. I think its my favorite craft so far. If you want to make one of these pretties for yourself go here.

I decided there were absolutely no cute lamp shades out there that would match my house decor so I decided to make my own. SO simple and super cute. I want to do stripes on our bedroom lamps next. If you want to make one of these go here.

Update:
I started my new job today and love loved it! Everyone I work with is LDS and super nice. I got lucky.

We went boating with the Child fam and enjoyed every minute of it. We were so sore the next day from tubing and wake boarding, but it was so so worth it. I am so happy its still 80 degrees and beautiful here!

I finally reached 8 miles for my half marathon training with my sister-in-laws. Accomplishing this was the greatest feeling in the world. I can't wait to cross that finish line with Kim and Rebecca in our Super woman costumes!

Josh is feeling so much better and is doing so well in school. His first hockey game of the season is this week and I am so stoked! Here's to many nights loosing my voice cheering again :) cant wait

crafty craft

I made this cute gold ring from a Pinterest tutorial... easy peasy and I love love it. If you want the tutorial go here.

Update:
We had a really good weekend vaca in Idaho with the Child fam. We had a blast and really didn't want to come home. Lots of girl time with my sister-in-laws. Josh got to go shooting with the boys and loved every minute of it.

Josh had surgery this week. Poor thing got to the point where he couldn't even swallow a pea without choking. I'm happy to say it went very well and he is back to his happy self.

I have a second interview at a salon on thursday. Crossing my fingers.

Labor Day Weekend

This Labor day weekend was the best one we've ever had together.

Saturday we took the wave runner out and Josh love loved it. He almost threw us off a million times but I was ok with it because he was having the time of his life and who am I to stop that?

Monday we took the boat out with Charlie, Taina, Jax, Steven, and Laura. SO FUN. Tubing, wakeboarding, swimming, we had a blast. Later that night we went to C & T's for a delicious BBQ, relaxin in the hot tub and roastin mellows.

We missed our buddies so much this summer and are so glad to be back. Thanks for the perfect Labor day guys!!
